Resolved Question: Are employers allowed to check on the authenticity of a doctor's excuse in the state of Alabama?

Someone told me that employers can not follow up on written doctors excuses leaving it an open playing field for people who want to write fake ones when they dont feel like coming to work and dont have any vacation days left...is there a law that actually makes it illegal for employers to contact doctor's offices to authenticate excuses? If so..where is info on this law?? The particular case is this: an employee constantly calls in causing another employee to have to cover his shift..using the buddy system in shift work, the employee is responsible for his supposed relief's shift up to 16 total hours if he doesnt show up for work..he is suspected by management to be printing doctors excuses with fake info to excuse the absence and protect the employee from loosing his job due to him missing work every the time Management says that there is no way to prove that these excuses are fake because this law prevents them from checking to look if the excuse is authentic

Voting Question: family troubles! can someone please help me?! im going insane!?

ok, where do i start. my ex and i broke up about a month ago over something nice of stupid but the thing is, we have a daughter together. in january, we kept breaking up and getting back together and even when we were together it felt as if we weren't really together. so, one day he text and asked me what our daughter's SSN was. at that time it was tax season and i didnt think he should claim her because i was already going to claim her and plus the law says that she has to be living with him for more than 6 months to claim her. i asked him what he needed the number for and he said "to fill out some paperwork." for some reason my gut feeling was telling me not to give it to him because why would he need her number out the blue? i told him that he couldnt claim her because i was already going to but he said that he wasnt so i gave him a fake SSN. long story short, he found out that i changed some of the digits to her number and we broke up. but i also found out from his mom that his intentions were to claim her so he cant receive mad at me for lying if he did too, right? we stopped talking for a m onth and he didnt call to check on his daughter or look her at every! when he FINALLY did look her, it was only for 5 days and he allowed her to catch the stomach virus when it couldve easily been prevented! On thursday, i caught the flu and asked him to pick her up because i was too weak to take care of her and plus i didnt want her to catch it every over again but he said that he had something to do so i asked him if his mom could watch her since i was home alone and he he said that she was sick too! i called his mom and asked her myself and she claimed she was sick with the flu but yet she was out shopping!! that makes no sense to me. im getting ahead of myself a little. when he dropped my daughter home last tuesday, i asked him if he could watch her on friday because i had to work. he said exactly this "i dont know, i'll let you know on thursday." so i text and asked him on thursday and he NEVER replied! so i text his mom asking if someone could pick her up the next day before i went in to work and she said ok. Friday, i called his mom first becuase i knew my daughters dad wouldnt pick up but she didnt pick up! i basically blew up both of their phones and no one ever answered! i asked my best pal to take me to his home and while we were pulling in his neighborhood, he was pulling out! so my best pal honked the horn, he looked and saw it was us and kept driving! so i continued to his home and kept ringing the door until his mom answered and she said she couldnt watch her because she was sick! she called her son(my daughters fahter) and long story short he said he wasnt watching my daughter and it wasnt his problem that i had to go to work! he ended up calling me and i was mad so i told him that he will never look my daughter again! I FEEL LIKE IT IS NOT RIGHT THAT I HAVE TO ASK JUST FOR HIM TO look HIS possess DAUGHTER! AND ITS DEFINITELY NOT RIGHT THAT HE CANT WATCH HER WHILE IM AT WORK CONSIDERING IM THE ONLY ONE WHO WORKS WHILE HE DEPENDS ON UNEMPLOYMENT CHECKS EACH MONTH! i also told him that him so called wanting to look my daughter is NOT MY PROBLEM! because he slipped up and admitted that he doesnt want to watch her! sorry this was so long but basically my question is, should i ask my ex to sit down and talk things through for the sake of our daughter or just wait until he comes around because he bday is coming up! i would REALLY appreciate some honest feedback!

Open Question: Violating Probation and Not Telling PO?

I am 18 years old and in September, I received a minor in possession charge. I plead guilty to the charge and was given 6 months of reporting probation. Once I was every paid up and did every my community service, my probation officer told me at our last meeting that we did not have to meet again. I just have to e-mail him on march 10th notifying him if I had any encounters with the police and if it was every clear he'd send in my discharge papers. Last week I went out of state to visit my pal at a college campus. We decided one night to go to the bar, because I guess that is what they do out there! My pal promised me that the cops never bust the bars and that we have nothing to worry about. So we receive to the bar, and walk right in, didn't show the door check ID or anything and we were good. I chose not to drink because of my probation. But of course, that was the night the police decide to do a raid. We were in a little room on the side of the bar and the police cornered us in there, and lined us up to receive tickets. Not one person in that room was 21, and everyone had fake ids except myself and my two friends. I was then ticketed for being in a bar after 9pm and being below the age of 21. One of my friends received the same ticket, while the other just got off with a warning. Now, in my home state, one is allowed to be in some bars after 9pm if you're 18. This bar we were at did not have it posted that you had to be 21. I did not have a fake id, nor had i been drinking. I was ticketed for being in the bar after 9. It was a bad case of "wrong place, wrong time." I have a court date in that state in 2 weeks. But like I said i'm supposed to receive off probation in 2 days. I am planning to battle the ticket and plead not guilty on the terms that i was unaware of the law, there was no posting of the sign, and that my pal didn't receive a ticket either (unfair allocation of justice). Even if that means traveling across the country again. Now, many people have been telling me not to tell my probation officer because its unlikely he will find out. States legal systems don't communicate very well. But when the raid on the bar was made, there were several newspaper articles published with my name, city and age. You google, my name and its the first 3 hits. So it would be very easy for him to find out. I guess what I'm asking is, do I run the risk of not telling him, and skating by unscathed? Or not tell him, have im find out and things receive even worse? Or should I tell him on the 10th and just wish he goes easy on me once I explain the situation?

Voting Question: In pulic housing do you have a right to copy/view your personal file prior to eviction or any other time?

I sent a certified piece of mail which was also notarized to my property manager 3 weeks before she subpoenaed me to court for a lease violation. She had already sent to 10 say quit notice before I wrote her. In my letter, there were 2, one was explaining in detail about another tenant coming to my door, grabbing my door knob and turning the handle, the other letter was asking if I can receive copies of my personal file. She told me she couldn't do anything about the tenant trying to arrive into my home and she told me she wasn't gonna give me copies of my file. I read some where that I had a right to receive copies of my personal file especially if it is associated with the Freedom of Info Act. Are these things true? What should I do? Should I write the main Washington building and tell them what she did? Did she violate anything when she denied me my right of receiving copies? what did she violate in law? What about when the person grabbed my handle and tried to arrive into my home? What did she fail at doing as property manager? I also have y neighbor on tape grabbing others door knobs and I have her criminal record. One crime that I saw on her record is when she called the police for a fake emergency others include aggravated battery. Can I use the tape or her criminal record in court to prove she's been picking on me the whole time because she wrote my property manager and says I've been picking on her which is a lie. She's been coming to my home since I moved there October 2009. If I'm such a pain why do you keep coming to my door and I show her that I don't want to be bothered that's why she's harassing me now. Lastly, I'm not a guy, I am not gay and she is not my pal and I have never I repeat never did anything with this lady and I don't want to either. She is just someone who I heard from around the building who is on 6 different meds, sleeps with her dog and supposedly likes other women. Open Question: Trouble with the In laws?

Can someone please help me, I am confused and Don't know what to do or who to go to... My Fiancee and I are set to receive married this summer but my in laws are almost making that impossible now. My brother in law always wanted his sister in law (wife's sister) to marry my fiancee because his wifes sister is madly in adore with my fiancee. They've done everything to split up our relationship. Initially my brother in laws wife started harassing me and threatening me and got out of hand when she started talking about my family (alive and dead). I've been patient and NEVER swore at her once, for my fiancees sake. I was unbelievably patient. My fiancee never did anything about it because his brother and him were having problems about this already and his brother wasn't really speaking to him. This went on for couple of years, Wanting to give the Sister in law a taste of her possess medicine (nothing intentional) because she was getting out of hand, I started speaking to her the way she always spoke to me. She has recently gone to the cops because somene made up a fake account and harassed her just the way she harassed me, but I fear that it's one of my friends because everything that was going on between us and the problems were mentioned in the emails. I'm not sure who. I don't want anyone to receive in trouble for my problems. Is it a cyber crime to harass someone the way they did (just give them a taste of their possess medicine)? but nothing was meant intentionally, i am sure of that. Please let me know what I should do next, as my fiancee thinks i have something to do with it and isn't speaking to me, He says I am splitting his family up. Open Question: how do i get away with murdering my evil mother in law?

After over 18 years, 3 kids, and the usual problems in a marriage, my wife and I have survived. Now, my mom-in-law told me straight out that she should kick me out on the road. She is very blunt about this to my kids as well. My youngest comes back to me and asks why "gramma wants momy to kick you out." My wife is spineless when it comes to her. There are also 5 sisters that support my mom-in-law in her decisions. I have told her to stay out of our lives, but I was never rude, just firm. I have even brought the kids up to look her, but they are getting to the point they don't want anything to do with her either. I will not make them visit her. To top it off, I am disabled and cannot do anything to please her. She thinks I am "faking it", and does not understand why I do not work.

Examples abound in the last few years and the most recent case in Florida illustrates the government’s deplorable negligence. Eighty of the fake students have been arrested by immigration authorities and will likely be deported, but at least 120 are still at big and investigators say they are trying to determine what the foreigners are doing in the U.S. They arrive from various countries, including Turkey, Syria, Turkmenistan, Venezuela, Indonesia, south and Central America. In other alarming cases, a Pakistani man indicted in Houston for aiding the Taliban and training with firearms for jihad against Americans, entered the U.S. with a student visa. He remained in the country long after the visa expired, became heavily involved in Texas Muslim groups and completed weapons and reconnaissance training at various area locations to terrorize Americans. In the same month an admissions clerk in the nation’s largest public university system got caught accepting bribes to quick track foreign students’ applications, many from the Middle East. Who could forget when 11 young Egyptian men disappeared in 2007 after arriving in the U.S. with student visas to attend an English program in Montana? Ages 18-22, the men landed at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport before vanishing. Whether foreign students show up for their assigned courses in U.S. schools became a major issue in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, when federal investigators discovered some of the terrorists had student visas and did not properly use them. One of the attackers, in fact, entered the United States as a student -- but never showed up for classes in a language school in California. Hani Hanjour, believed to have piloted the plane that crashed into the Pentagon, carried a student visa that authorized him to study English in the United States. He landed in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Dec. 8, 2000, and told an airport passport control officer that he intended to live in Oakland, Calif., to take English-language courses. He never showed up for his courses. According to the indictment, the two defendants -- Lydia Menocal, the school's director, and Ofelia Macia, a school employee -- falsely stated that the petitions they signed were actual visa requests for foreign students. The papers in question were so-called forms I-20 or certificates of eligibility that enable foreign students to obtain U.S. visas. The indictment indicated that Macia and Menocal collected money from the ``students'' who then did not attend the classes. Open Question: Is it right that I do not get closer to this woman?

Ok she is my sister in law and actually she is really friendly and nice ot my family but there have been a couple of occasions where I thought she was sort of 'mean' or setting the terms of the relationship and I didn't want a part of that so now I keep my distance and keep her at arms length. So I am a shy person but if I offer to help or do something nice she would say 'you just stay silent' and she is sort of 'fake laughing' and she catches my hands and sort of throws them at me which I felt was sort of a feeling of rejection and 'you're worthless' nice of gesture (nobody listens to me when I talk in the family as i am the youngest so I am sort of powerless in that regard and I felt she saw that dynamic and took advantage of it). And, sometimes if she is talking to my mom in the kitchen about groceries or something and I interject to talk (not rudely but when there is a lull in the conversation) to say something as I worked in a supermarket for a few months so I have an idea even if I am still living at home at the minute while getting my grad degree and she would halt me with her hand, ignore me and start yapping away to my mom because she has the power to do that in the family dynamic. I thought it was really rude and she was nice of being an asshole. From these two incidents I just decided that I did not want to be her 'pal' because it inevitably means for me to be this person that she disrespects with impunity because my family could not care less (they would do it too)..My mom gives me grief now when she calls over because I hardly give her the time of day. I am civil and nice and polite when I look her. I may even chat or hear to her chat as she is very talkative but generally I keep my distance because I think she will disrespect me in the future.

Resolved Question: Would this be a good movie?

It's the 80's. There are two abused kids (15 yrs old), and they run away. "They" don't intend to. Sid has a bicycle trailer, and the other, his pal Tim, covers himself up with every the stuff while the first one is not there. The camera doesn't show this, the audience doesn't know. Sid rides the bike away, loaded with his stuff, and comments "Wow, this is heavier than normal." He gets to his hideout, some little shanty out in the sticks, and he is sitting down, taking a relax, when he notices the bags move. He is wearing a machete on his hip, to clip brush with at the shanty, and he pulls it out and sneaks over to the trailer. He smacks the bags aside, and draws back, and Tim is there. So they have an argument, then Sid decides to let Tim stay. They end up traveling around the state, having various run-in's with the law. It turns out only Tim has been reported, and Sid has not. The law is cracking down difficult on Tim, and when they're in the park, Sid is in the trees, but Tim is spotted by the cops. He rides away, and the camera shows a sign that says something about a cliff ahead. We hear a scream, then the camera fades. It opens at a church, during his funeral. The preacher says something about the body not being found, and then the camera cuts to the hideout. Tim and Sid are there, and Sid is wondering how he did it. He tells how he jumped off his bike, threw some fake blood down the cliff, then ducked out of sight before the cops saw him (80's were a pioneering time for DNA and stuff). The cops sent out a search party, but it came up empty, assuming the coyotes dragged the body off. This is a VERY basic outline of it, but would it be a good movie? If there's a movie maker out there interested in making it, I could send more info by email. I don't have the funds or equipment to undertake such a task, so I can't easily do it myself. Hi, I'm in college and working on a project for a commercial recreation class. Our project is to conduct a feasibility study and create a business plan on a mock business. We're opening and operating a Bed and Breakfast in Illinois as our project. But we've ran into a problem with getting estimates for insurance. I've found plenty of insurance companies that offer B&B insurance, but they issue quotes for actual businesses. It's not like they have a pricing list on their website. And I don't think they'd appreciate writing up an insurance quote for a fake college project! I've got the types of insurance needed, but have no idea how much coverage is needed or what an insurance policy is likely to cost. The property is worth $500,000. Okay so a little back story... I lived in Maryland until June of last year when I moved. Prior to moving I had several people in and out of my home repairing and cleaning things. We also ate out a lot so there is many ways a person could have had access to our credit card. On the 8th of February someone started making tiny mail charges here and there. They said "Royal Mail" which I now know is the Great Brittan mail system, but with my husband in Iraq, working in a Palace I assumed he was sending our kids gifts. - It turns out these were "tester charges" and they ranged from $2 - $11 and there were about 15 of them. Finally I asked my husband about them and he said they weren't from him so we disputed them. His credit card was turned off but as it turns out, a day too tardy. The very next day a charge posted to our account for nearly $500 from a dot com company. The scam artist had done it again and gotten away with it. When I contacted the company I found out that they'd already sent out the merchandise but they gave me the address and name it was sent to. It was sent to my husband, and also confirmed through a fake e-mail address with my husband's name in it, but to an address in Maryland, the same town we lived in until June of last year! The local (to MD) law enforcement is blowing it off and the bank has bigger fish to fry. This person is not going to look an ounce of justice. I imagine we're not the only ones they've taken advantage of and gotten away with it.. They are stealing from people and not seeing any consequences.. So my idea is a Justice/Flash Mob... I was thinking we could try and receive 50 people (if not more) to show up next Monday at 7pm. Chant "Justice will be served, 3 times at 7:02 and then drop hand written notes that say "The person in apartment 104 steals credit card information and money" "You've been outed" "Justice will be served" - Which might leave a hint of a threat lingering in the air but the real meaning of "justice will be served" would be because of the embarrassment if neighbors heard it and saw the notes. What do you think? I'm trying to figure out how to do it. - I don't know where to post it and I really don't know how to receive a bunch of people to actually show up and do it. Any ideas? I was just replying to you and was surprised you closed the Q that soon with you thinking you got nasty responses , and I assure you , you misunderstood what H is telling you , H did not mean to insult you. However please read my answer (or now question) below , and answer it if you have further inquiries on this subject. Other members input is always welcome. --- I bet you none of these are actually sent by real Dubai based companies or businesses , most of these are fake from people in other countries impersonating Dubai or UAE entities , to cash-in on the boom in dubai and the coverage it has been getting worldwide, they abuse that and every these e-mail lists and spam servers are not actually based in UAE . A lot of these arrive from Nigerian, Russia, east Europe, US, India, & Malaysia. The UAE can't reach these people because they are not operating from with in the UAE. Of course there may be some actual or real businesses sending promos, but for the real ones you can simply contact them and ask to be removed from any promo list or just add their e-mail your spam filter. Some times your possess ISP/ webmail sends you ads for other companies they deal with , these are not really spam, they are just part of the way the operate. Unless you are on Hotmail they do send a lot of spam on that , try Yahoo or Google or whatever there are thousands of free mail websites not every of them are after spam money. As for operating a "scammer" business in UAE, that is very difficult to do and the law is very strict if caught. The UAE has a specific internet law to prosecute any one that does that. But of course nothing is 100% proof , they may find a way but I don't know of any (internet scam from within UAE) , and haven't heard of such cases in a long time. We have several e-mail boxes with a UAE provider , and 1 of them always gets spam as you describe and it is quite annoying to the point we stopped using it, while the other e-mails on the same provider do not have the spam problem. These people who spam you must have gotten your e-mail from an online list some where or from a real company that you dealt with (like if you bought some thing or subscribed to a magazine etc). Where in this company sold the e-mail list of its customers to other parties for profit. Note that for the legitimate spam (not scams or viruses) opening them is not that risky because you need to open those to read how to "unsubscribe" or find out the contact e-mail that you can send a complaint to to make them cease sending you the ads. If you are not sure if has a malicious script in the e-mail then you can stomp that from being activated by turning off the script & java from running in your browser options settings. (this will also turn it off in Outlook e-mail reader -- meaning "options" in IE or Control Panel , it is the same) Just because a spam e-mail has pictures of Dubai does not mean it was sent from there , a lot of travel agents around the world work on commission and pay people to promote their deals TO DUBAI, from their possess XYZ country, on the internet , it is not really any one from Dubai doing that. To check from which country & ISP the e-mail is coming from first you need to change your webmail or mail reader program to display full headers (usually not displayed , they are like the caller ID info), after which find out the domains + IPs shown on the headers text and do a WHOIS search on them, this will show the actual ISP and what country it operates from. Once you have done that go to the ISP page (which will be given along wit contact in the WHOIS info), and try to find out from their website how to lodge a span complaint . Send the complaint report to the ISP along with the offending IP of theirs (one of their customers) and a copy of the actual "headers" as proof it came from their service. Also provide exact time it was received because dynamic IPs are shared and they can only find out by the time this occurred. They will start an investigation until thy match which of their users did it and they will suspend their account. Some ISPs depending on the country may actually report the user to police or file a law suit against the spammer if they are a respectable company. Finally UAE domains are limited , and there are only 2 ISPs, namely Etisalat and Du. If your spam shows other ISP names then it did not arrive from UAE. H, yes I too did not look any other replies so that is why I assumed he misunderstood . But after this Q he replied privately and explained it was because of the name calling , so I don't know exactly may be there were some thing we missed.

It's not the peace and adore part, I'm down with that. It's the smoke 50 pounds of weed, take 12 tabs of acid, roll around naked in the mud with a bunch of other high, naked people part. I work at a "Christian" daycare..A "teacher" in the middle copy/pasted a conversation that DIDN'T exist, edited it with her possess words...and had her daughter mail it to the director. This "convo" that took place was supposedly between myself and another teacher, but was totally a lie. However, we were called in for a meeting with the daycare board, and questioned. Well, of course I pointed out that it was clearly fake and we both denied having any involvement. The teacher that did this wasn't even a pal of ours on facebook..The convo said the word "Bitc@ " two times and the word "psych" in front of the "B" word..anyway, it is untrue. But now the board members and director keep meeting with us, have told outsiders and other coworkers about the situation. To top it off, the pictures used on this "fake" convo wasn't even the pics we use on our profiles. The pic they used of mine was a pic of my 5 year old niece. Then the board members photocopied this article and are passing it out to other members, as well as us. I don't know the laws of the pictures of minors being passed out, especially at a daycare, but it doesn't seem right. So, the members keep wanting to meet with us, and have done so already twice. Tomorrow they want to meet with us again. They keep asking us over and over if we had any involvement. i am starting to feel harassed by them. I also feel that since this is clearly fraud or something along those lines, I should use the legal system? What are my rights as an employee and as a victim of these lies? Ok, it's clear to the other teacher involved and the daycare board that this document has been edited. The font, font size, and many other things are different from what an actual facebook posting appears. It's obvious that it has been altered. We printed out an original page from facebook showing them what an actual posting looks like. I'm not going to lose my job, but the meetings are getting ridiculous. I understand they have to investigate, but there are so many other circumstances to this situation that there isn't enough time to explain. I spoke to a police office who told me that people setup fake accounts every of the time. That I should receive an attorney and not meet with the board again until meeting with my attorney.

I'll put it this way, since atheists complain about certain things not being 'politically correct' to be taught to their kids and they receive so much support to the point - Christians receive forced to pay with their tax dollars for crap they don't want to support that's being taught in public schools, why not just have the whole education system on vouchers, so the crap that Christians know is untrue science like evolution and other subjects that's considered 'politically correct' such as abortion not being murder or things that's considered 'natural' or 'normal' to certain people that's not real believers in God's wisdom - I ask why not have the whole education system on vouchers, so atheists & others who don't believe in God's wisdom - have to pay for their education out of their possess pocket and Christian' kids can be getting the real education you want to pay for them to have? Also btw, what's even more scary concerning the effect derivatives have on economies even on a worldwide level - derivatives had grown by 2007 to the level of 595 trillion dollars (not just 595 million or even 595 billion-but 595 trillion $). Oh and btw, I'm not a liberal or libertarian either, besides not being a conservative, because I believe in progress, not policies or favoritism or elitism. By that same token, if Christians shouldn't be forcing things - NEITHER should the atheists or evolutionists be forcing anything either. That being said, also with using falsified 'evidence', 'evidence' in mistake, incomplete, inconclusive and speculative at best 'findings' made by obviously biased atheists/evolution supporters, recognition by the science communities at any cost/by any means seekers, scientific grants by any means seekers, etc; as 'proof' of evolution or the actual age of the Earth & Universe and just going by what so and so biased atheists/evolutionists as well as science cheats - say is 'proof' - wouldn't that be like taking Nixon's word for it that watergate didn't happen, especially when even corporations not only want but usually demand of the scientists on their payrolls to have something that actually works such as an invention, piece of hardware, etc; before they invest millions into it - correct? Furthermore, courts have overturned past decisions including about how constitutional laws are. As always, decisions of judges sometimes depends on their personal interpretations of what they think laws mean or what the intent of laws are. Also before I forget to mention it, since Alan Greenspan who was the Chairman of the Federal Reserve of the U.S; was wrong by taking lassiez faire economics to extremes by arranging through lobbying and spreading speculative rhetoric to Congress and the Senate for the purpose of NOT allowing derivatives amongst other things to be regulated, besides other financial 'experts' - why couldn't other so called people of science who support evolution THEORY blindly or with bias - be over being wrong also? This is terms that's even been used to describe juries for court cases. Next, referring back to the court representation & evidence used by the creationists - while it is true they may not have used the best proof to prove their point - it is also true that I saw no proof of the evolutionists case given, that is aside from hearsay 'evidence'. Again, witnesses to the resurrection wasn't hearsay but proof, plus hearsay is not accepted in unbiased (fair) court cases. Next> Next (from over again) - as I mentioned over, I saw references to Judge Jones the 3rd's conclusions and nowhere did I look any mention of proof that was given to back up the case for evolutionists' case. So how can the evolutionists' side be decided as having proved their case when no REAL proof was given to back their case unless they had the judge in their pocket the whole time and this shows corruption in the court system when this happens. With that being the case I'd ask how would an evolutionist like it if they were in court for a murder they didn't commit that they were framed for and the judge was corrupt knew they weren't guilty but judged them guilty anyway and sentenced them to life in prison? Resolved Question: Brother in law I want nothing to do with - Drug addict lost kids.?

Ive been with my boyfriend for 5 years now. His one brother I have never liked to well, But Ive always been nice. He is a crack head, steals and lies. Him and his girlfriend recently got every 5 of their kids taken away. After they were tooken away I found out from other family members they were allow theirs kids to go over to a sexual offenders home ot hang out - In return they would receive money or thigns bought from them! I do not know if the kids were abused. They do not deserve their kids. And I want nothing to do with them. We were helping them by giving them rides to look the kids in foster care. But its far and my car isnt every that wonderful. I work full time to take care of my kids while my fiance (his brother) has been laid off. I can not afford to steer them far with my car not in good shape. They had attitude about that, and the last ride we gave them the brothers girlfriend had attitude very rudely and didnt thank us for the ride. Is this wrong of me to want to have nothing to do with them? They are rude and unappreciative. They are only now really wanting the kids back (yet still smoking crack, not working,stealing) But onyl because they live off welfare and can no longer sell their food stamps and fake inguires to receive pain pills to sell and buy crack. I want nothing to do with them. How do I react to my fiance when he wants to help them. Give them some of our food. We struggle also. I dont wan to be rude but I really do care for them at every.

Loaded question, I know. But like image is more important to anybody it seems like. Being fake is considered fashionable now. Casualness has gone overboard. Entertainment and who knows who are the only things that matter. Fairness and competition are yesterday. People don't care about qualifications and reputation anymore. More and more people are being political and don't care. America has developed ADD and laziness. Many people say one thing and mean another. Stereotypes never end. The President is still a bafoon with an ego the size of Mars. He keeps trying to think he is smarter than the American people when it comes to the effectiveness of laws and policies. Unemployment rates are going up in every state. Too many people expect the government to hand everything to them and no one else.

Voting Question: Do we have the right to...?

stay in our apartment that my dad's manager gave us to use while he works for them as a building superintendent? My dad got fired for untrue allegations of assault. While this is going to court because it was fake and planned, I want to know if we can still stay in our apartment even if we are being asked to evict out of the place. Both of my parents are not working and currently do not have the money to find another apartment. I know that there is a law protecting tenants, but I'm not sure how that plays in our situation. please HELP!

Open Question: Advise in handling my sister-in-law?

my sister-in-law, "Mary," is away at college several states away. I'm 19 weeks pregnant with the first of my husband's family's next generation. But I feel like she's hovering in a weird territory. She has ALWAYS hated me, and made her feeling known, even after her brother married me and it would seem she's "stuck" with me. Now I'm pregnant, and she is calling my husband every the time asking for updates (only bc she knows I wont pick up my phone if she called) and he cant dodge her calls quick enough. She sends messages on facebook about photos of the bump and always saying how "disconnected" and "far away from the whole pregnancy" she feels. Her scary intense interest even has my husband freaked out, his sister cares too much, and his dad and step mom could seem to care less. Her interest feels fake and down right creepy, I'm the one who's pregnant, the one she hated four months ago, should I trust my gut and keep avoiding her. But at some point, She will return from college, right when I'm due and I'm afraid she will hurt my family if she tries to take over my baby shower, like she took over my wedding shower. She's a control freak and a faker!! HELP! Please give me advise or I'm going to hurt her when she gets within five feet of my bump!! My gut says she needs to butt out but how do I let her know that?!?!?!? p.s. we find out tomorrow morning if its a boy or girl!! I want to be the bigger person, I just really hate being around her when she's making me sick with her fake personality. atleast when she hated me I knew her feelings. Resolved Question: I have a theory about the "God hates fags" guy?

He was an attorney. 5 of his 8 kids are lawyers. 6 of his 13 grandchildren are studying to be lawyers or are already lawyers. Why so many attorneys? They also have over 400 open suits. It is my theory that they are fakes. They have found an argument that angers Christians and Non-theist same. God hates America really angers the patriotic people ( a lot of whom are Christian) God hates fags angers the civil rights activist. Showing up to soldiers funerals just angers everyone. They say inflammatory things, then sue people who react to them. They hide behind the first amendment, with what they say. They are in their full legal right to say what they want on public property. I hate to say it, but if they are sincere in their beliefs, they are crazy, but if this is every show, its genius. I don't support their agenda, actions, or beliefs. But they have found a way to turn patriotism and hate into a booming business. Your feelings? NOTE: the first amendment was not created to protect popular speech. While its ridiculous what they say, where they show up, and the way they translate their message, if we censored them then we would not be honoring the constitution and every unpopular idea could be censored. Okay so a little back story... I lived in Maryland until June of last year when I moved. Prior to moving I had several people in and out of my home repairing and cleaning things. We also ate out a lot so there is many ways a person could have had access to our credit card. On the 8th of February someone started making tiny mail charges here and there. They said "Royal Mail" which I now know is the Great Brittan mail system, but with my husband in Iraq, working in a Palace I assumed he was sending our kids gifts. - It turns out these were "tester charges" and they ranged from $2 - $11 and there were about 15 of them. Finally I asked my husband about them and he said they weren't from him so we disputed them. His credit card was turned off but as it turns out, a day too tardy. The very next day a charge posted to our account for nearly $500 from a dot com company. The scam artist had done it again and gotten away with it. When I contacted the company I found out that they'd already sent out the merchandise but they gave me the address and name it was sent to. It was sent to my husband, and also confirmed through a fake e-mail address with my husband's name in it, but to an address in Maryland, the same town we lived in until June of last year! The local (to MD) law enforcement is blowing it off and the bank has bigger fish to fry. This person is not going to look an ounce of justice. I imagine we're not the only ones they've taken advantage of and gotten away with it.. They are stealing from people and not seeing any consequences.. So my idea is a Justice/Flash Mob... I was thinking we could try and receive 50 people (if not more) to show up next Monday at 7pm. Chant "Justice will be served, 3 times at 7:02 and then drop hand written notes that say "The person in apartment 104 steals credit card information and money" "You've been outed" "Justice will be served" - Which might leave a hint of a threat lingering in the air but the real meaning of "justice will be served" would be because of the embarrassment if neighbors heard it and saw the notes. What do you think? I'm trying to figure out how to do it. - I don't know where to post it and I really don't know how to receive a bunch of people to actually show up and do it. Any ideas? Is there not a website somewhere for listing Flash Mobs?
